Each “kite” or star can be fussy cut or pieced, while the “rings” can vary in color and width, giving you complete control over your design. Class Details:

• Materials: Bring your favorite fabrics—contemporary, modern, traditional, hand-dyes, tonals, batiks, or thimbleberries. The more variety, the better! My first Spider Web quilt featured over 280 different fabrics, not including the crazy pieced kites. For a class project, 6-8 fat quarters are enough to make a stunning pillow. You’ll also need a 22” by WOF fabric and a 22” zipper for the pillow backing (keep the selvages on).
• Special Ruler Fee: There is a $12 fee for a specialized ruler that will help you achieve perfect precision and ease when creating your Spider Web quilt.
