Kristin has been teaching Quilt-As-You-Go patterns and techniques for over 15 years. Not everyone has a longarm or wants to send out their quilt tops to be quilted. Using the Quilt-As-You-Go technique, quilts can be quilted in smaller, manageable sections that are more easily maneuvered under your domestic sewing machine.

Learn the history of the Seminole Indians and how their unique approach to patchwork became a vital source of income for the tribes. See examples of their patchwork over the decades in clothing and crafts and learn about the significance of the designs in their culture. Modern examples of Seminole quilts will also show the versatility of these beautiful designs.

This large disappearing 4-patch block quilt will highlight your favorite layer cake or print fabrics. Each over-sized block is quilted individually then joined together with a special sashing technique. This is a great way to quilt larger quilts in smaller, manageable sections. The back of the quilt is just as beautiful as the front!

This is a technique class to learn the concepts of Seminole strip piecing. Students will make 4-5 different Seminole designs in class.
