You can create perfect 12″, 14″, or 16″ finished Hunter’s Star blocks by using simple squares and rectangles, and the trimming lines on the Hunter’s Star Trim Tool. The ruler simplifies the process considerably.
Add some creative color placement, and a huge variety of Hunter’s Star quilts are all yours. The cutting requirements are printed right on the tool.
It slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, the exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! The tool comes with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions, or you can scan the QR Code printed on the tool to view a video demonstration.

In addition to the trim tool, attendees will need the following supplies:
- Sewing machine, thread, rotary cutter, scissors, basic sewing supplies
- Spinning mat (highly recommended)
- Fabric – see Hunter’s Star Trim Tool fabric requirements
- Purchase a Hunter’s Star Kit or Hunter’s Star pattern with your choice of fabric
- Pressing mat and small personal iron
