I often stop at Quilters Corner in Deer Lodge, MT on my drives to Bozeman. Couldn’t resist this cute kit.

Tutti-Frutti is an interpretation of the 1940s Arkansas Crossroads pattern, made with 30s Playtime fabrics by Linzee McCray for Moda Fabrics. The cheerful vintage prints give this timeless quilt a fresh, playful spirit.

This quilt is so special to me. I made it for myself for my 60th birthday! Like me, it's not perfect, but it's full of color and bright and happy and it makes me smile.

I got very excited when I got the fabric for this quilt and sewed the top in a day. This quilt was quilted on my domestic machine before I had a frame set up. This was my first quilt quilted with a stitch regulator.

I have always been afraid of hexies. Until I found a free pattern that utilizes half hexies so there are no Y seams! I loved this Star Wars line so turned a traditional flower garden quilt into Death Stars. Quilted with Millennium Falcons.

A friend asked me to embroider the pledge around her quilt. When I made this one, I decided to only do the top and bottom so it would be more readable. I ended up making three.

Several in Cheney Frayed Edges wanted to do this pattern with panels. If you do one and follow directions, you have the pieces to make two. I couldn't resist, so now I have two.

A lot of pieces, a lot of points, a great project for early spring. I did two at once, this and a blue one. I'm still not good at points.
