Karen Brow – Moonlight Rhapsody

A wall hanging workshop with Karen Brow-Meier.
A fox, raccoon, moon and owl all sing together in the night. Inspired by our Oh Howly Night pattern, this wall quilt is a smaller project which covers all the same techniques and a few special ones.
In this workshop we’ll cover:
- expert tips for small pieces (including how to use fewer of them!)
- “stuffed appliqué” (not trapunto)
- finishing off-the-edge pieces
- simple hand stitches to embellish
- creating life-like eyes
- finishing and quilting

Notes:
- Students may optionally fuse the appliqués, but some of the techniques above will not apply.
- The pattern is included in the workshop fee, but limited kits for purchase will be available.
