April 26 @ 9:00 am 4:00 pm

A wall hanging workshop with Karen Brow-Meier.

A fox, raccoon, moon and owl all sing together in the night. Inspired by our Oh Howly Night pattern, this wall quilt is a smaller project which covers all the same techniques and a few special ones.

In this workshop we’ll cover:

  • expert tips for small pieces (including how to use fewer of them!)
  • “stuffed appliqué” (not trapunto)
  • finishing off-the-edge pieces
  • simple hand stitches to embellish
  • creating life-like eyes
  • finishing and quilting

Pattern included with class fee
Limited number of kits available for $39.75 (contact Karen directly @ https://javahousequilts.com/ to get your kit.

  • Students may optionally fuse the appliqués, but some of the techniques above will not apply.
  • The pattern is included in the workshop fee, but limited kits for purchase will be available.
  • Photo at left shows optional pieced background.
