Fancy Feathers/Frogs Table Toppers!
Using the Middle to Middle Piecing Method
This is not paper piecing! Create either of these colorful, four-block table runners (approx. 12″ x 36″) using our Middle to Middle Piecing Method. (Think piecing a log cabin block but with shapes instead of strips.)
In this workshop we’ll cover:
- cutting pieces in multiples using the templates
- piecing the blocks by “matching middles” and trimming
- creating appliqué feathers
- using simple hand embellishment stitches
- These can be created using any holiday colors and the finished lengths can be increased by simply adding more blocks.
Note: The pattern is included in the class fee and this same technique is used to create our Infrognito or Elephant Walk lap quilts.
