Made in loving honor of Roger Bafus to comfort him in the last days of his life. Roger spent over 26 yrs in the Navy, told great stories, and loved his family. Thank you for your service. You are dearly missed.

I love the versatility or Seminole patchwork. I think this design makes a bold table runner.

I love pink and brown. I saw this quilt in a book called small blocks, stunning quilts and decided to give a go. Started 1/1/2024 and finished 3/20/2026.

I joined thequietplayswap online in 2016 and Colby had my name in the swap. We shared the patterns, fabrics and colors we liked. It took awhile to ship as it was shipping from New Zealand and I was told “It will be worth the wait!” And it was!!

These Santa patterns were in a K P Kids book for appliqué and were about 10”. I reduced them down to 1.75” and filled them in with thousands of French Knots. One thread, one wrap around a #11 quilting needle.

Several friends bought kits to make this quilt. I choose to use Aunt Gracie’s fabric. We worked on our blocks over the course of one year. I love Dresden Plate blocks, they are probably my favorite block.

This pattern intrigued me I do like older patterns. I thought it would be a great way to use leftover strips from other projects. I did paper piece the melons, making it easier to maintain the shape and size.

I took a class while a member of Patient Quilters in Louisiana from a quilt instructor from the Gulf States Quilt Guild. She had 3 sizes to choose from… I love miniatures.

Out of my imagination, I drew a sketch of this old well & designed a pattern. The background is dyed cloth, and the well and rocks are painted fabric. The pathway is a batik. Stitching of the foliage was done on my domestic sewing machine.
