Three of us took Robs class in Sandpoint. I decided to use fabric I had. All good until I ran out but it looks a little astronomical, hence, the name. On further examination it should be titled “Pointless”!

A challenge – y seams, so many. I joined friends in a quilt along over 15 months to make this quilt.

I like birdhouses, so I decided to paint fabric for birdhouse, tree and bird. The stitching on the bottom areas of the quilt was done on my domestic sewing machine.

I had made another landscape, using the batik that are used here for the leaves only in green. I found the same batik in fall colors in Sister’s OR and just had to use again.

Original design . I have always wanted to see if I could do respectful sun rays. Not great but I like the effect.

I ok a class from Rob in Sandpoint last year and made this quilt with my mom, friend, and the Sandpoint guild members.

Using panels and fabric in my stash has been therapeutic. I enjoy arranging colors and patterns to fit the panel squares. On this one I used a binding with a flange. I think it makes the binding more durable and interesting.

This is a quilt that I made for my first grandson for his #3 birthday. I hand appliqued, hand embroidered, & machine pieced and then had it machine quilted. I followed the pattern designs, except to change a block to include skiing.

This is the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt 2025-2026 year, Lupine and Laughter. I loved her color scheme, I had this finished just a few weeks after the quilt reveal.

Aunt Mae made me a quilt like this. It was 30's fabric. The dog chewed it up. I purchased this top at WSQ show 2022 and quilted it for myself, practicing feathers and a ruler.
