I've had this pattern for a very long time and finally had time to get it done. I love Halloween so it was a fun quilt to make. I decided it would be fun to flip some of the jacks to face left, make a scrappy border, and back it with Cuddle.

I kept the temperature high/low daily for one complete year starting January 1st and ending December 31st. Then began putting it all together.

Quilt Patch Lane did their BOM. Was a challenge making sure I made it to the quilt shop with a finished block every month because of my surgeries. But glad to say it is finished and well pleased. Thank you Quilt Patch Lane for your fun.

I love the colors in this kit created by Charity Central and decided to give this pattern a try.

Kathy Knox started this quilt. I finished it without the pattern. Was a trial and error situation to be sure I had managed to receive all the pieces or fabric to finish it. Was quite the challenge.

I enjoy making the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilts. They challenge my to perfect my piecing skills. I made numerous changes on this quilt. They also get me out of my comfort color schemes. I look forward to them every year.

I took a very challenging class for me. I’m more of a traditional quilter and this was more of a modern quilt. It challenged me from being to end. So happy that I finished the quilt. It’s not perfect but it’s done.

Designed after an old family photo, I wanted to replicate in color. I researched wagons and draft horse harness. I hand painted fabric for the background and subjects, then stitched the foliage on my domestic machine and longarm and added accents.

My husband saw this fabric in 2023 before I learned how to quilt. He asked if we could buy it and I make a quilt for him with it. In 2024, I learned to quilt, but other projects kept coming before this one. Christmas 2025, he finally got his quilt!

I love doing hand applique and enjoyed doing this quilt. I also loved the orange color. It is an unusual color for me, but a good contrast for all my blue.
