I fell in love with Anna Maria’s Echinacea fabric collection. I then began looking for a pattern to showcase those colorful coneflowers beautifully. I think the two are a perfect match! My Tula stash was used to foundation paper piece the starbursts.
A simple layout with the curves of the Easter eggs paired with Tilda’s country memories spring collection was perfection for me! I love the sweet pastel colors and the warmth of the mustard chambray background fabrics together.
I wanted the challenge of this pattern with foundation paper piecing and curves and it was a great opportunity to showcase Tula Pink’s large designs. It was really a fun sew and I’m excited to make another utilizing Halloween prints and colors.

I have admired these styles of quilts for many years. After having completed two other English paper pieced quilts, I decided to dive in. It was an 18 month BOM and I kept up and each month she just grew bigger. I am very pleased with her beauty!

I made this quilt top (mostly) during a class at last year’s quilt show! It was a great day of sewing and chatting with Fran (Cotton and Joy) and now I have this beautiful quilt!
When I decided I wanted to learn how to quilt in 2022, this was the pattern I chose. I was humbled almost immediately! After learning how to sew curves and some paper piecing, I felt confident I could finally finish this quilt.
I made a similar quilt for my grandsons' 10th birthday. A black/white Springer Spaniel, his best friend. Over the years the tied quilt became well worn, this new one has some of the same fabric. Ruger passed away after Xmas, so a new one is in order

This is a Patriotic quilt celebrating America"s 250 yrs! We used the Northcott America 250 line of fabric. Blocks were fussy cut from the toile and the Founders fabric. We used the Ophelia Tiles quilt pattern. Members supplied the red and blue fabric
