My guild is celebrating our 10th anniversary so I wanted to make a quilt using a diamond pattern. Jen Kingwell had a perfect fit.

I bought interesting fabric by Seth Aptor and went looking for a pattern. My title for this piece is "Live within" referring to the text in the quilt.
I hadn't worked with Dresden fans in this layering technique and I enjoyed the color combinations and the layered applique.
I love to quilt in opposite colors, blue and orange being my favorite. I hadn't used those colors in a few years and this pattern seemed perfect (with a little red thrown in for fun).
I designed this pattern at QuiltCon 2025, and with the help of my friend Abby, made this colorway that makes it feel like the fabric is flowing across the quilt. I used all AGF Pure Solids. This pattern is for sale at www.monthofmayquilting.com
This fish bag is my favorite wearable quilted item I have made. It is so fun and happy, and brings me so much joy (I love his wonky little hand). I love a fish motif! This is the first time I have made a bag and sewn a zipper.

I took this class from Eddie Walker in the TriCities. As soon as I found out I needed 21 different fabrics, I knew I wanted to make something bright and modern! I loved building this fabric rainbow & I really love how cheerful this quilt turned out!
INMOD challenged us to represent our guild's 10th Anniversary using the KONA Color of the Year. I decided to represent all the friends that I have from being in the guild, which I think now add up to way more than 10!
I was looking to make a piece with round blocks. This is paper pieced – look at those tiny pieces. It was a challenge, but I was happy to finish it!
