This is a Lone Star BOM completely hand pieced with English Paper Piecing and hand applique.

I English Paper Pieced original butterfly rings and hand appliqued to pieced blocks "Off Kilter" by Hunter's Design Studio. I hand quilted using the big stitch method and Perle cotton thread.

This is a row of the month quilt. I used my extensive Kaffe Fassett collection.

When I was researching for The Missoula Quilters Guild 2020 quilt show, The Roaring 20s, I discovered that Coco Chanel introduced her Little Black Dress in 1926. The show was canceled. So now six years later it is the 100th anniversary of the LBD.

How to quilt my vision to the quilt will be the challenge. What I planned to do and what the end result was, was totally different. Now I need new glasses as all this quilting has changed my prescription! Of course I’ll tell myself, never again!

Saw this quilt on FB marketplace and had to convince the sender to ship it instead of selling it locally. I love the border but am wondering how the heck to bind it. The layout is a bit unconventional so the machine quilting will be a challenge!

Needed a small project for a quilt retreat and found this at the WSQ Show one year and finally got around to making it. Love the rich colors of it.
