Color in Motion
I took on the challenge and surprised myself!
A friend gave me this kit because she thought she'd never get around to it. I changed one color and added more blocks. I think the colors are very restful.
The treasure challenge is something I look forward to each year. i love planning custom quilting. This year with my shoulder surgery, I had to make different plans. Sometimes an edge to edge quilting design works better than custom quilting!
This quilt and others were pieced by Charity Central and Quilted by INMQ. The quilt and the rest will be given to people that need some special comfort!
Thank you to the WSQ Charity Central volunteers for creating this quilt for the Quilt Challenge.

My overflowing scrap bin was my inspiration. I thought it would be fun to create a quilt using appliquéd circles on fabric squares with big stitch quilting. This quilt represents wonderful memories of quilts made and quilts loved. Hope you enjoy.
The way quail gather makes it appear like they are good friends and it seems like there is always at least one that looks out for the others. This quilt is an ode to friendship and the way good friends gather and encourage each other.
