Nancy Charline Goodyear 82, of Spokane WA, passed away at her home November 26, 2022. Nancy was born July 3, 1940, to Charles “Chuck “and Hazel (Crossland) Goodyear in Okanogan WA. She attended school in Okanogan. Upon graduation, Nancy moved to Spokane where she worked for John Hancock Insurance Company. Upon her retirement at a young age, she started her own Quilting business called Nancy’s Needles, which she enjoyed until a full retirement. Nancy’s enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and crochet, and belonged to quilting groups. Favorite memories of her Nieces and nephews are being taught to sew, and quilt. Nancy was also an avid dog lover and left behind Weenie and Ace. Nancy is survived by many Nieces, and Nephews: Shirley “Lynn” Trumbo (Pat Anson) and family, Michael Trumbo (Kayla), Riley, Dakota, Griffin, Lennox, and Jett. Regina Carmack (Ross) and Opal. Rachel Perkins (Zach) William, Dominic, and Olivia. Whitney Davis (O.J.). Clinton Loring Trumbo. Krista Irwin and family, Shealynn (Levi) Camden, Dane, and Kristopher. Jana Oliver (Chris Gray) and family, Drue Morris. Rachel Bradley, Robert Bradley, Rebekah Bradley and family, Gavin, Sloan, and Scarlett. Nancy also leaves behind her special friends Konstantin Derkach and Vitaliy Derkach who she thought of as her grandchildren. Nancy leaves behind many special friends and will be missed by all of us. Nancy was preceded in death by her Parents Charles and Hazel Goodyear, Sisters Francis “Shirley” (Goodyear) Trumbo, Margret “Peggy” (Goodyear) Oliver, Brother-in-law, Robert Oliver, and Niece Pamela Goodyear Bradley.

A graveside service was held 12:00 PM, December 10th at Omak Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to your local humane society.
