This was a free pattern by Material Girlfriends, Lisa and Lora. I purchased a fat quarter bundle from Lisa and Lora at their booth at Road To California Quilt Show last January and finished it in time for Valentines Day! Love how it turned out!

Our native Rocky Mountain Iris was the inspiration for this quilt. The tree frog, bumblebee and dragonflies are some of my favorite wildlife.

This is a fun pattern creating both light and dark stars.

This quilt was so fun to put together!

Design of different shapes and colors of snowflakes depicting sizes of flakes and intensity of colors.

The complexity of the geese flying in different directions caught my eye. I wanted to catch the feeling of geese in our skies at different times of year.

I seldom buy a kit but the fabric design and colors (love navy and pink) was so perfect I had to have it. 🙂 It was fun to make and I love using pink for the backing.

I machine embroidered the designs on all the blocks. I wanted a quilt that showed the beauty of autumn.

I made this quilt to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA. I found the fabric for most of the quilt in scrap bags at a thrift store. Some were marked with names of stars. I found it was a pattern by Fons & Porter. I found the pattern!

This is the first panel quilt I have sewn. I loved the panel as it has two of my favorite things in life. A cat and a bicycle.
