Make a sweet, simple, and fun journal covers using wool appliqué and embroidery stitches. They are fun to make, great to personalize, and give as gifts. They are made using 5×7 journals. However, you can use any size with a few adjustments discussed in the pattern.

This is a fun, bold, modern quilt design by Charisma Horton. The pattern offers 2 sizes and it’s easy to construct.

Learn the basics of traditional needle turn appliqué, including preparation, needle turn basics and how to use notions and tools to make leaves, stems and circles easy and fun to add to your project.

In this class you will learn many common stitches used in wool appliqué on this darling project including the 13 stitches on this project.  You will also learn the basics of wool appliqué, including how to prep, types of wool, how to mark your piece and then we will move on to learning the embellishing stitches.
