This was a black of the month that I struggled to finish due to so many blocks each month. It is far from perfect but was definitely a challenge for me. I could barely fit it on my 10 ft long arm frame.

I love bright and happy quilts so when I visited Shabby Fabrics I had to buy the pattern! I used my own bright fabrics and really enjoyed making it!

The challenge was to fill a basket of something and I am totally a cat lady so a basket of kittens was my first thought!

These quilt squares were embroidered over 100 years ago by Hazel Wright, my husband's grandmother. The note that came with them was dated 1926. The quilt was completed in 2026. Exactly 100 years after the note was written.

This pattern was striking when I saw it at Quilt con 2024, I knew I needed to try it. It uses RSS Geometry fabric and it just feels like being at the lake.

I started this during Covid and decided it was time to finish it. I like to applique because it is a "coloring book jigsaw puzzle" putting the pieces together to make each block.

On a quilt cruise to Alaska, one of the projects included a woven basket. I made this woven basket and filled it with a variety of flowers.

THE FLOWER BASKET WAS FOUND AT AN ESTATE SALE AND NOT COMPLETED. I PURCHASED IT AND REDESIGNED IT ADDING MORE EMBELISHMENTS.

FABRIC WAS FOUND AT A YARD SALE WHISPERING TO ME TO PURCHASE AND LUCKLY THERE HAPPENED TO BE TWO OF THE SAME PANELS. CAN'T WAIT TO REDESIGN THE SECOND PANEL

The hedgehog fabric was found in a fabric store on the San Juan islands during a Mother’s Day weekend some years back by my daughter. It was love at first sight.
