I was gifted a panel with these gorgeous designs by Julie Paschkis. It took a long time to find a pattern that would suit it. Finally discovered the Town Square pattern and it was perfect for showing off her folkloric cats.
I've made a bench pillow for each season except Christmas (too many other pillows). This was a very fun and sparkly project. Loved the red, white, and blue fairy lights. Happy 250th Birthday America!

I made this block-of-the-month using assorted scraps of Tilda fabric. I know that quilting over applique is frowned upon, but it may never have been finished if I waited to figure out how to custom quilt around the appliques.
My husband loves flags (but not quite like Sheldon) so I picked this pattern with him in mind. It was also appropriate for our country's 250th birthday!

This was a project to stretch my ability to do custom quilting on a large quilt. I found myself grinning as I quilted it. I hope you love it as much as I do.
I changed the outer border which required adding new blocks to the main quilt. I spent many hours redesigning (graph paper) and many, many hours coloring, embroidering, and hand beading the snowflakes. I didn't keep track of my hours but beads (1662)

Aunt Betty passed away before finishing Lincoln's beard, leaving the hoop clamped onto the fabric! I inherited the project and finished embroidering from Lincoln to the end, then pieced and hand-quilted it—just in time for America's 250th.
