This quilt was made for the INMOD color of the year challenge, using Kona's color of the year Wander. The theme for this quilt challenge is also to somehow relate your quilt to the number 10, as this year is the 10th year of INMOD.

This quilt commemorates the 250th Anniversary of Jane Austen. I adore Jane Austen novels and this quilt called to me. I love everything about this quilt from the reproduction fabrics to the appliqué. This was done as a sew-along with Riley Blake.

This quilt was made as a gift for my daughter who encouraged me to enter it. She helped pick the fabrics used and how she wanted them oriented. Took almost 2 years to complete the hand quilting with a lot of learning along the way.

I wanted to use this fun flower block from the One Sister book " Crazy Favorite Things". Utilizing my favorite fabric color combination of red, turquoise, and white made for a fantastic set of blocks, and the silk batting feels amazing.

This is my mystery quilt with my best friends. It was a fun project.

This was inspired by a collection of zebra fabrics with some additional black and white prints thrown in. The blue was an unplanned but fortuitous addition. Mostly pieced at a retreat in Three Forks, MT.

This quilt was made in response to a "brown" challenge at the Missoula Modern Quilt Guild. I used a newly purchased Circle Savvy ruler to cut out the curves and found it to be a very addictive process!

I designed this block (I'm sure it is a previously used block that has a name, but I can't find it anywhere) to showcase a collection of animal and text fabric.

I designed this quilt in response to the 2025 Quiltcon Low Volume challenge. The flower design is based on flowers I created 15 years ago in a Jane Sassaman class.

This was inspired by a gift of protest fabric from a friend. The graffiti statements from the protest fabric are featured in the middle of each Dresden plate flower. Flowers, flower centers, and letters are raw edge appliqued using a zig zag stitch.
